More than just losing weight!
I decided I needed help when the weight started creeping up each year as I got older.  I would start running distance as I normally did in the past to lose weight, but the prior knee pain coupled with the added weight was too much to take.  I tried counting calories, but I always felt tired and I was not losing weight.  I started training at PTT with JR and it has been about 3 months and I am in the best shape of my life!  I think what was most motivating was that I noticed changes within the first week and with that, I was inspired to keep working hard.  With JR's guidance I now have a better understanding about nutrition and what proper training can do and that it is not difficult to keep up.  JR has opened up a new world of exercise for me.  I was used to running and using the same types of muscles every day.  Now, with the strength training and a variety of exercises, I no longer suffer from knee pain.  Training is very challenging, but when you see results so quickly, you want to keep working hard.  It used to be about just losing weight, but after seeing myself lean up and become strong and having clothes fit better than they ever did, the benefits have grown to so much more.  I have lost over 10% body fat and 6 1/2 inches from my waist in 3 months.  If that isn't motivating I don't know what is!  Thanks JR and PTT!!
